Our family farm has been thriving for 38 years, with 15 of those years dedicated to the Wagyu business. Run by my wife Lolene, our son, his family, and myself, Bill Brandau, we continue to uphold a legacy that began with Lolene’s parents, Lowell and Zelma. We bought our place from Lowell in 1987. We have four sons; one stayed local in Graham County, while the other three pursued different paths but return home for visits. Our family brand has proudly served Graham County, AZ, for 88 years. 
Lolene was raised in the Gila Valley and Southwest Missouri on farms and ranches owned by her parents. She taught school at the Safford Christian Academy for 30 years. I, Bill, originally from Beeville, Texas moved here 50 years ago for a job. I worked for the Bureau of Land Management in Southeastern Arizona for 31 years in a variety of positions. After retiring from the BLM, I spent fourteen years as the Graham County Cooperative Extension Director for the University of Arizona.
